As a federal lobbyist, he represented clients with members of Congress and before Congressional committees and organized a technology-transfer symposium that brought members of Congress, Administration officials, national-lab scientists, and industry leaders together in one room. At Ingram Micro, he managed the company's largest reseller and systems-integrator accounts while serving as Cisco specialist for its Government Division. At Bank of America, he ran South Carolina's top-producing office for more than a decade. As BoA's Community Market President for Anderson, Pickens, and Oconee counties, he directed sponsorship and grant funding to local organizations.
